One of our favorite annual events!  The 2022 Blessing of the Fleet will take place Saturday, April 30 (rain date is May 1).  The fun starts at 9:00am with danish, donuts and coffee at the York River Yacht Haven activities room.  Here is where you will get information about the parade and line-up.   

The day’s events are set to include:

• 9:00am:   Coffee, donuts and danish will be available starting at 9:00am.  Here is where you get parade details and get information about where you are in the line-up. Last minute sign-ups are welcome too!
• 10:00am:  We will begin to head out and take our places in the water. 
• 11:00am:  Each boat will cruise by B Dock for bagpipes and their blessing. 
• 12:30pm or so:  A picnic lunch will immediately follow the boat parade.
• 2:00pm, the traditional sock burning (to welcome spring) will take place under the magnolia tree

YRYC members will receive a sign up link through a club email.   YRYH slipholders will receive event information from the marina.  Everyone is welcome to participate!  Please note that an RSVP will be needed to guarantee a lunch.
