The weather turned so we were not able to hold our annual Memorial Day weekend raft-up at Mobjack Bay.   So what were we to do with all that barbecue (courtesy of club member John H)?   Those of us who decided to stick around the marina decided to have a “cruise to nowhere” on the pool deck instead!  

We had a terrific gathering of food, friends and fellowship (not to mention, great food).  Once we were done eating, out came Jenga for a friendly battle of sexes (girls rule, by the way).   

Sunday was equally nice as we followed up with a lunch & learn session.  Club member Rob L spoke about the care and maintenance of marine HVAC systems, giving attendees great information and guidance.

Despite the cool rainy weather, it was a still a nice kick off to the summer sailing season.
