YRYC had an absolutely amazing turnout for its annual Holiday Party on Saturday, December 3.  Rear Commodores June and Hope planned a lovely meal with tasty delights from Bangkok Noi and GT’s homemade flan in three flavors – vanilla, coconut and espresso.  Plus, we got to enjoy the Yorktown Lighted Boat Parade as they made their trip through Sarah Creek.

The highlight of the evening (in addition to the flan) was the always popular ‘white elephant gift exchange’!  So many great gifts!  But the one that brought out the heartiest laughs?  Hands down, it was the shotgun plunger!  That will be hard to top at next year’s party.  But I am sure someone is already thinking about it.
