Following dinner, Program Captain, Helen Quinby, has arranged for a special talk by CHIP DIZE. Chip is a member of the Virginia Department of Marine Resource Commission and works in the law enforcement section.

Virginia Marine Police Officers are responsible for a multitude of unique police duties. Serving on the tidal waters of the Commonwealth, officers enforce commercial and recreational fishery laws and regulations. Officers are also tasked with providing search & rescue operations, enforcing boating safety laws, responding to emergency calls, investigating boating accidents, investigating criminal activity and providing counter-terrorism patrols to our military installations, shipyards and nuclear power plants, and other high value maritime assets.
