From Southern Bay Racing News You Can Use (SBRNYCU) #509: Dream On, skipper Steve Bowen and crew, are winners of the 2010 York River Cup. Boats gathered to contest The Cup on a beautiful Fall day with winds NE 10-13, temps in the mid 70s and clear skies. RESULTS: Spinnaker Fleet: 1. Rumble - Ben Weeks/Michele Cochran; 2. Movin On - Mike Austin; 3.Bellatrix - Gary Van Tassel. Non-Spinnaker Fleet: 1.Dream On - Steve Bowen; 2. Hornet - Brian Gregory; 3. Midnight Rider - John Haracivet. Race Chairman - Mike Mastracci.

The 2010 York River Cup is scheduled for Saturday September 18th with a 12:30 PM rendezvous in the vicinity of York River R"22". This CBYRA sanctioned regatta has two planned races. Entries are due by September 16th. A post regatta social is planned for 1700 with dinner following at 1800. Complete details can be found in the sailing instructions.
