Some see sailing season start when the snow is no longer a possibility. Others count it when the bottom paint is on and the boat back in the water. But for those of the York River Yacht Club, sailing season starts with Mike Mastracci’s annual Sailboat Racing 101 seminar. Each year, Mike presents us with information as to how it’s done, throwing in much on rules and techniques. But what makes the seminar’s special is the stories he tells along the way and the answers to questions, always different, from the audience.
