Single Handed Race – a long-standing tradition at YRYC!
July 27 is the date for this year’s Single Handed Race.
Only one person is permitted aboard the boat. Electronic autopilots may not be used during the race. Participants are required to wear an approved PFD at all times during the race. This will be a non-spinnaker race.
Race entry is included with YRYC Wednesday Night Race registration. Boats not registered for the Wednesday Night Races may compete by registering with the YRYC Race Captain by 8pm Friday, July 26th via email: racecaptain@yryc.org
The Race will start in accordance with Rule 26. Warning signal at 13:25 EDT with race beginning at 13:30 EDT.
PHRF Non-Spinnaker only (single headsail). Between orange flag on the RC boat and York River R“22”.
